Back in April, Elon Musk first teased an image of Tesla's upcoming semi-truck at a TED Talk in Vancouver. Now, ahead of the truck's October 26th unveiling event, it seems a picture of the truck totally exposed has emerged on the web.

The truck, which looks eerily similar to the above teaser image, was spotted strapped down to a flatbed. Although we're only able to see the side profile, the headlights and proportions seem to all match up. Unsurprisingly, it looks vastly different from your average internal combustion-engined semi-truck.

Tesla has yet to release any official images or info on the truck, but according to Reuters, it will be capable of driving itself, and could have a range of 200 to 300 miles per charge.

This isn't the first alternative-energy semi-truck we've seen aiming for a large market share recently. Nikola revealed its turbine-powered truck last year, boasting zero emissions and 2000 horsepower.

We'll just have to wait until later this month to see what Tesla has in store.
