Named for a William S. Burroughs character, Clem Snide first emerged from Boston as a three-piece in the early 1990s, and the group would go on to become a cult and critical favorite over the course of three decades and more than a dozen studio albums.

Songs by Clem Snide have been featured on such television shows as “Ed,” “Californication,” “Wonders of Life,” “The Good Wife” and “Love.”

Scott Avett of The Avett Brothers produced Clem Snide’s most recent album of new songs, 2020’s “Forever Just Beyond.” The songs on it grapple with hope and depression, identity and perception, and God and the afterlife.
