Altoona woman struck, killed by vehicle on Monday near Snead
An Altoona woman died Monday evening after she was struck by a vehicle on Alabama Highway 75 near Snead, according to Alabama State Troopers.
Violet Dean Little, 75, was fatally injured when she was struck in the roadway by a 2013 Dodge Challenger driven by a 37-year-old Oneonta man. The crash occurred at about 7:15 p.m. near Wynnville Road, about 2 miles south of Snead. Little was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers continue to investigate the incident.
