WESTPORT, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

He is a family doctor so he is not required to work in the hospitals as he has a private practice

<b>Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?</b>
He volunteered to work in Bridgeport Hospital on the COVID-19 floors. He had to learn all new skills as a physician since he hasn't done this work before but felt it was his moral duty to help

He always puts the health and safety of others ahead of himself
