During the event, attendees will join local Texas Game Wardens on a tour of the Wild West Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, located at 2901 N. Soncy Road, on Saturday, April 1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

According to the rehabilitation center, this kind of tour has not been given since the facility's grand opening on April 27, 2019. Last year, the center took in more than 3,000 animals from the Texas Panhandle.

The center encourages wildlife sponsors and community members to attend the baby shower event, stating: "Your donation keeps our doors open and allows our amazing volunteers to help the orphaned and injured wildlife that come through our door."

Admission to the event is a donation to the center's Baby Shower fundraising link, or by bringing an item off the center's Amazon wishlist.
