Amateur Golf: Polingos take top spot at Woody's Revenge Open
Sep. 27—WILLMAR — The duo of Josh and Jake Polingo won the Woody's Revenge Impossible Open this weekend at Eagle Creek Golf Club.
The Polingos won the 2-person scramble tournament with a score of 63. Three teams — Eric Means and Jason Rongstad; Chad Akerson and Matt Gorans; and Pete Hannig and Tayor Olson — tied for second with 66.
Jim and Kathy Schammel won the mixed division with 68; Clark Vollan and Eric Roberts took first in the senior division with 64; Doug Lindblad and Mike Schroeder won the super senior division with 73; and Gabbi and Olivia Wodash took the top spot in the women's division with 90.
