Amer Abu Nawas took up soccer commentary

after friends and family encouraged him

[Amer Abu Nawas, Soccer commentator]:

“I found out that, while following soccer games, the things I say are similar to what is said in analysis and on websites, so a lot of my friends and relatives told me that I have a talent and should start making videos analyzing (soccer matches). In the beginning, I wasn't too enthusiastic to film and make videos and didn’t think I would find myself doing soccer content but with time I said why not, I have a message to relay.”

His soccer commentary Facebook page has attracted around 60,000 followers

with some of his videos exceeding a million views

“I started an initiative, Amer’s dream to go to Qatar to follow the World Cup, but until now I didn't go. I hope this dream will come true and I can follow the finals of the mondial. I also dream of watching Liverpool in Anfield stadium and I hope these dreams will not remain unfulfilled.”
