CBS2's Kevin Rincon has the latest on the investigation.
JESSICA MOORE: A delivery driver shot at close range on Brooklyn Street. Welcome back tonight at 5:30. I'm Jessica Moore.
DICK BRENNAN: And I'm Dick Brennan. We can tell you the shooting happened in Bushwick in broad daylight.
JESSICA MOORE: People in that neighborhood say it may have been a case of road rage. CBS2's Kevin Rincon reports.
KEVIN RINCON: The yellow crime tape here, along DeKalb and Wyckoff Avenue, a marker of yet another shooting in the city.
TAMMY MURRAY: It is like the pandemic has actually made people crazy, it seem like.
KEVIN RINCON: Police were called at around 11:00 in the morning on Monday. They say a man walked up to this truck and fired a single shot.
SABRINA SANTIAGO: It's just like people just don't care. It's just like during the day. It just goes to show you like how bad that is. Like it's just wild.
KEVIN RINCON: This single shot pierced through the passenger side window of this truck. Witnesses who didn't want to go on camera say it started with an argument out here on the street. Those same witnesses say there was some sort of fender bender leading up to the fight.
Cops say the driver of the truck was sitting inside when he was shot. The bullet grazed his face. Family of the 22-year-old victim-- they showed up to drive the truck away. They, too, didn't want to go on camera, but told me he was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
- It's crazy. I mean, kids, people walking around here There's a [INAUDIBLE] section. [INAUDIBLE]
KEVIN RINCON: People around here-- they're concerned for their own safety.
TAMMY MURRAY: Like me. I'm going my way to work. I could have been walking by and been the one getting shot. We all worry now.
