The Amazon Echo dot 4th gen plummets to just £9.99 in this limited-time deal
Amazon has just extended its deal on the Amazon Echo dot 4th generation smart speaker, and you’re not going to want to miss out on this deal before it’s unceremoniously ripped away.
The price of the current generation Echo dot, which was released last year, usually retails for £49.99, but Amazon is selling it for just £9.99 when you buy the smart speaker with a month’s worth of Amazon Music at the same time. That means you’ll pay just £19.98 for the entire package, or £18.98 if you’re an Amazon Prime subscriber – you lucky lot get an extra £1 knocked off.
If you’re not already an Amazon Prime subscriber, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial and then cancel it once you’ve bought the Echo dot and Amazon Music Unlimited bundle deal. You won’t be charged for Amazon Prime if you do this, but you’ll still get an Echo dot and Amazon Music Unlimited for £18.98.
There are a few caveats, however. This deal is only available to new customers who don’t yet have an Echo smart speaker, and you need to be a new subscriber to Amazon Music Unlimited as well. So, if you’ve already got an Echo device in your home that’s registered to your Amazon account or you’ve used Amazon Music in the past, including free trials, you won’t be able to take part.
A word of caution though, if you are eligible and don’t want to continue your Amazon Music Unlimited subscription after your first month, make sure to cancel the subscription before the next billing date.
This deal was initially supposed to finish on 15 August, but Amazon has just extended it to 20 September, so you’ve still got a month before the promotion ends.

Amazon Prime subscribers only get access to 2 million tracks, rather than 90 million with Amazon Music Unlimited.
