Discounts on home electronics, men's and women's fashion and Amazon devices are coming just in time for the holiday season during Amazon Prime Big Deal Days, running Oct. 10-11.

The event, exclusive to Amazon Prime members, features the newly launched Holiday Shop, complete with gift guides for a variety of price ranges, savings on gift cards − from DoorDash, Panera Bread, Old Navy and other participating retailers − and free same-day or one-day delivery.

The Holiday Shop also has a Small Business Gift Guide, which has curated selections of products, including those under $25 and $50, items from Black-owned and women-owned businesses and more.

The Prime Big Deal Days offer consumers savings across many top categories − electronics, toys, home, fashion, beauty and Amazon devices. The deals are also available from independent sellers in Amazon’s store.

Amazon announced that some Prime deals include popular product name brands, such as Martha Stewart, HP, Acer, Casper, Carter's, Peloton, FujiFilm, Dyson, KitchenAid, Asics, Bissell, iRobot and more.

Members can shop at small businesses by looking for the Small Business badge and searching the website via the Small Business Search filter. Consumers can also look for sustainable products, as part of Amazon's Climate Pledge Friendly program.

Amazon Prime is offering a free 30-day trial for those who haven't been members over the last 12 months.

The regular membership fees are $14.99 a month or $139 per year. Amazon also offers special monthly plans for students at $7.49 per month, which comes with a free 6-month trial, and consumers who are on a qualifying government assistance program, such as Medicaid or SNAP, can get a membership for $6.99 a month.
