Amazon Prime Day 2019: The best UK deals live now before the big sale

The annual summer sale is just around the corner, with only a week to go until Amazon Prime Day, members can look forward to more than a million exclusive deals across a range of goods, from tech and home appliances to fashion and beauty.

The online retailer is promising the biggest and longest Prime Day ever, with deals across the site running for 48 hours, which is a significant increase on last year's 36 hour sale.

The good news is that you don't even have to wait for Prime Day to enjoy discounts, the sale has already begun over on Amazon's website, with daily deals that are available for a limited time only.

But not all Amazon customers can enjoy the discounts. In order to take part in the sale, you have to be a member of Amazon Prime, as the name suggests.

If you're already a Prime member you will automatically get access to the deals, but if you’re not yet a member, you can sign up now to enjoy the deals both before and during the big event.

When is Amazon Prime Day 2019?

This year's Amazon Prime Day will run from Monday 15 July to Tuesday 16.

It will start at midnight, Pacific Time, which is 8am GMT on Monday.

For the first time ever, Amazon's sale will run for 48 hours, making it the longest Prime Day sale yet. The time frame of each sale has increased over the past few years – going from 24 hours, to 30 and then 36 last year.

How can I take part in Amazon Prime Day this year?

In order to enjoy Amazon's huge sale, you need to be an Amazon Prime member. An Amazon Prime membership will set you back £7.99 a month or £79 for the whole year, but you'll be eligible for a range of perks, including same-day delivery, more than 800,000 free e-books and access to Prime Video and Amazon Music services.
