Amazon Prime Day 2020: Shop the best deals from Best Buy's competing sale

Move aside, Prime Day 2020! Best Buy is here to compete with Amazon's annual deals extravaganza with a massive two-day sale of its own. On October 13 and 14 (the same dates as this year's Prime Day), the big-box retailer is hosting an early Black Friday-level sales event featuring hundreds of incredible deals on top-rated 4K TVs, laptops, wireless headphones and more that tech lovers won't want to miss.

To help customers shop this sale, Best Buy is offering both curbside pickup and in-store pickup, plus alternative-location pickups at select CVS and UPS locations. Shoppers can also opt for either same- or free next-day delivery or choose to shop in stores with enhanced safety protocols in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

What's more, Best Buy is also introducing a "Black Friday guarantee," promising to refund the difference for any product purchased that drops to a lower price prior to Black Friday (November 27). Just note that your order must be placed while signed into your My Best Buy account (it's free to sign up here) and that it's only eligible for items with the “Black Friday price guaranteed” label on the product page. These reimbursements will be issued by Monday, December 14. Meanwhile, the return period for purchases has also been extended through Saturday, January 16.

Get the Samsung 65-inch Class Q90T Series 4K Smart TV for $1,899.99 (Save $600): This quantum-dot-enhanced TV shined in our testing with its sensationally bright picture, which we found made it a great fit for gamers.

Get the Dell Inspiron 15 3593 15.6-inch Touch Screen Laptop for $599.99 (Save $200): Any gamers that are in the market for a new laptop can't go wrong with this Dell Inspiron 15 with an Intel Core I7 processor. We chose the very similar 7577 model as one of the best gaming laptops under $1000 due to its impressively powerful graphics and affordable price tag.

Get the HP 2-in-1 14-inch Touch-Screen Chromebook for $499 (Save $130): This laptop comes recommended from our electronics writer, Emily Ramirez, and has more. than 2,000 glowing reviews that mention it being great for both work and play.

Get the Lenovo Chromebook Flex 3 11-inch Touch Screen Chromebook for $179 (Save $100): If you're looking for a basic laptop for simple tasks, the Lenovo Flex 3 is a solid choice, having landed on our list of the best Chromebooks for its flawless touch recognition and portable, lightweight design.

Get the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15-Inch Laptop for $299.99 (Save $150): We named this laptop one of the best laptops under $500 for its solid performance and comfortable keyboard, though the battery life only lasts four hours and we found its build to be a bit flimsy.

Get the Beats by Dr. Dre Solo Pro Wireless On-Ear Headphones for $179.99 (Save $120): The Beats Solo Pro are the new-and-improved model of the Solo 3 headphones, which we named one of the best headphones for the gym due to their long battery life and versatility. The Pros should be a nice upgrade, as they're noise canceling, making them even more useful while in public.

Get the JBL Free True Wireless headphones for $59.99 (Save $90): These in-ear buds are designed to be compact and portable while boasting four hours of battery life, according to JBL.

Get the Sennheiser HD 458BT Wireless Headphones for $99.98 (Save $100): With an overall 4.2-star rating, reviewers labeled these a well-rounded a set of Bluetooth headphones with premium build quality. They feature active noise cancelation and tout a 30 hour battery life.

Tablets

Get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 12.4-inch 128GB S7+ for $749.99 (Save $100): In our review of this device, we praised the fast performance, beautiful display and thin, classy design of the S7+ tablet. We did think the software experience could be improved, however. You can save $150 on models with larger storage space: the 256GB size is on sale for $779.99 and the 512GB size is going for $879.99.

Get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 11-inch 128 GB S7 for $549.99 (Save $100): The previous iteration in the Galaxy Tab line, the S7 has the same specs as the S7+ but has a smaller, LED screen rather than OLED (translation: a less crisp contrast) and a different battery. You can also get the larger 256 gigbyte (GB) size ($579.99) and the 512GB ($679.99) at an even bigger discount of $150 off their retail prices. It holds an average 4.8-star rating from close to 100 shoppers.
