Amber Alert canceled: Destin child reported missing was found safe
Update: The Florida Department of Law Enforcement canceled the Amber Alert for a missing 12-year-old, saying she has been found safe.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement put out an Amber Alert just before 7 p.m. Wednesday for a missing 12-year-old girl from Destin.
Jaylee Jeffords was last seen in the area of the 300 block of Miracle Strip Parkway in Fort Walton Beach. She was last seen wearing a multicolored flannel long sleeve shirt, blue jeans and bright yellow Nike shoes. Jaylee is known to wear glasses. She has a bruise on her neck.
Jaylee is 5;5" and weighs 130 points. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on the missing girl is asked to contact FDLE or the Fort Walton Beach Police Department at 850-833-9546, or 911.
