Amber alert issued for Idaho teen believed to be traveling with man wanted on sex abuse warrants

Authorities in Idaho and Washington are asking for the public's assistance in locating an Idaho teen reported missing Friday and spotted in rural southeast Washington with a man with outstanding warrants.

An Amber Alert issued Monday evening for Lillian Dixon, 15, of Lewiston, Idaho was updated Tuesday afternoon to include details of a man she may be traveling with.

Dixon was spotted Monday with Jonathan Bowles, 36, in Starbuck and Pomeroy, Washington, according to the Garfield County Sheriff's office.

Bowles is wanted on multiple felony warrants for child molestation out of Garfield County in southeast Washington.

The pair are believed to be traveling in a stolen 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer, maroon in color with Washington state license plate BKA0197.

Dixon is described as 5-feet-2-inches tall, weighing 100 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black and white stocking cap, black and white jacket with an "8" on the back, black shirt, blue jeans and cowboy boots.

Bowles is described as 6-feet-2-inches tall, weighing 235 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

Authorities say Bowles may be armed and ask anyone who spots the pair to call 911 immediately or the Idaho State Police at 208-209-8730.
