Amber Alert canceled, children found safe, parents in custody

UPDATE, 12:26 p.m.: Aranda is in custody.

UPDATE, 12:00 p.m.: The children have been found safe, but Alexandria Aranda is still missing.

UPDATE, 11:56 a.m.: Troopers believe Alexandria Aranda is driving a blue Dodge Mangum with a Kansas license plate. It’s not clear what the license plate number would be.

UPDATE, 9:54 a.m.: Moises Aranda is in custody and the car has been located. The mother and the children are still missing.

UPDATE, 9:11 a.m.: Pittsburg County Sheriff Chris Morris said the biological parents lost custody of the children and live in New Mexico. An aunt currently has custody of the children.

Morris said when the parents arrived to the aunt’s home, there was a little bit of a struggle when the 10-month-old was ripped from the arms of the aunt.

The abduction was reported around 7:30 a.m. and Morris said it’s believed that the family is heading back to New Mexic

An Amber Alert has been issued out of Pittsburg County for three girls: 10-year-old Areli Aranda, 8-year-old Raziel Aranda, and 10-month-old Zamirah Aranda.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol believe the children are with 36-year-old Alexandria Aranda and 33-year-old Moises Aranda. They are believed to be driving a 2010 gold Chevy Equinox with Oklahoma plate number LTL303.
