Amber Heard Hires New Legal Team as Johnny Depp Gets Back to Work
Amber Heard is changing up her legal counsel amid her ongoing battle against ex-husband Johnny Depp. Last month, the actress officially appealed the verdict in Depp's defamation case against her. Now, Heard will be represented by David L. Axelrod and Jay Ward Brown as her lead appellate counsel. Her previous lead attorney, Elaine Bredehoft, is stepping down. However, Ben Rottenborn will continue as Amber’s co-counsel. As the 'Aquaman' star fights back, Johnny's getting back to work. The actor is set to direct the upcoming biopic, 'Modi,' and star in the new period drama, 'Jeanne Du Barry,' as King Louis XV.
