65-year-old man who went missing from personal care home found

UPDATE 10:41 p.m.: Ambridge police said Joseph Mader III has been found.

Ambridge police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing 65-year-old man who went missing from a personal care home.

Police responded to the Maplewood Care Personal Home around 12:30 a.m. Thursday.

Joseph Mader III hasn’t been seen since he left the facility around 5 p.m. Wednesday.

His family told police that Mader takes medication for mental health issues.

Anyone with information on Mader’s whereabouts is asked to call Ambridge Police Department at 724-266-5977 or 911.
