The majority of the Topeka-area girls basketball teams have their successful seasons following midseason tournaments.

Heading into Friday's contests, Silver Lake led the local teams with a 15-1 record while being ranked third in 3A.

They were followed by 5A No. 1 Seaman (14-1), 6A No. 4 Topeka High (12-3), 6A No. 6 Washburn Rural (12-3), Rossville (12-4), Highland Park (11-3), 4A No. 8 Hayden (9-5), Shawnee Heights (9-5), Topeka West (5-10) and Cair Paravel (4-11).

Below are the top 10 Topeka-area stat leaders for girls basketball in scoring, two-point field goal percentage, three-point field goal percentage, free throw percentage, rebounds, steals, assists and blocks.

Stats are tracked by the respective teams and coaches and submitted to Seaman girls basketball head coach Matt Tinsley who, along with Seaman junior Tad Darting, have organized that data and put it into spreadsheets to send out to coaches.
