American Freight opens store in Wadsworth
An American Freight store has opened on Great Oaks Trail in Wadsworth and is holding a grand opening celebration through Sunday.
The Delaware, Ohio, company operates more than 360 locations in the U.S. and is a business segment of Franchise Group Inc. Other holdings of Franchise Group include Pet Supplies Plus and The Vitamin Shoppe.
American Freight is a national home retail store that buys furniture, mattresses and appliances directly from manufacturers. The 25,000-square-foot Wadsworth store has living room, bedroom and kitchen furniture; mattresses and bed frames; and rugs, desks and lamp stands.
“We’re excited to open in Wadsworth and give the community access to the widest assortment of quality furniture and mattresses,” said American Freight Chief Stores Officer Michael Gray. “By keeping our overhead low, we can offer everyday low prices on a wide assortment of home furnishings.”
The store will be open seven days a week.
