Claymates, it’s time to come out of retirement.

“American Idol” stars Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard are bringing “Twenty: The Tour” to Newark’s Midland Theatre on May 2.

Tickets range from $49 to $89, and can be purchased by visiting midlandtheatre.org or calling 740-345-5483.

It’s been about two decades since Studdard won season two of the hit TV show and Aiken took second place. More than 124 million votes were cast for the pair on their finale night in 2003, which drew more than 38 million viewers.

During the season, Studdard was celebrated for his rendition of “Superstar,” made popular by Luther Vandross, while Aiken was praised for his cover of Simon & Garfunkel's “Bridge over Troubled Water.”

After winning “American Idol,” Studdard released his No. 1, platinum debut album, “Soulful.” He went on to record several albums and act on television and in stage productions.
