Is there a Mickey Mantle rookie card in your cluttered attic? An abandoned Pierce-Arrow in your old barn? Vintage toys in your boarded-up storeroom?

We know some people who might want to take a look.

“American Pickers,” the hit television series on The History Channel, is returning to Ohio in April to film new episodes.

“We're looking for leads throughout the state, specifically interesting characters with fascinating items and lots of them!” associate producer Lynneisha Charles wrote the Beacon Journal. “The way we find people and collections for our show is through spreading the word far and wide so that people know we’re coming to town.”

The documentary series features Mike Wolfe, Danielle Colby and other “skilled pickers” as they roam the country in search of “America’s most valuable antiques.” The cast likes to find vast, odd collections with memorable histories.

“Keep in mind, we are looking for different, unusual, and unique items — something we’ve never seen before with an extraordinary story!” Charles wrote.

If you or someone you know has a large, private collection or accumulation of antiques that the “American Pickers” crew can spend “the better part of the day looking through,” the TV producers would like to hear from you.

Charles reminds viewers that the show’s pickers won’t visit stores, flea markets, malls, auction businesses, museums or anyplace open to the public.

This finally could be your opportunity to unload that steamer trunk of Victorian corsets or that wooden box of Howdy Doody doll heads or that dresser drawer of antique toupees.
