The History Channel’s long-running television series “American Pickers” will return to North Carolina for the first time since early 2021, with plans to film throughout the state in February, according to a news release from its production company.

Since 2010, the documentary-style series follows professional pickers as they hunt for "America’s most valuable antiques ... and the interesting stories behind them" at sizeable, private collections across the country. Along the way, the pickers meet interesting people with exceptional items, give historically significant objects a new lease on life and learn about American history. While filming, they also spotlight the colorful histories of the towns they visit.

Do you have a collection of antiques, vintage items, American memorabilia, and rare and hard-to-find treasures? Then the show wants to hear from you.

If you or someone you know has a large, private collection or accumulation of antiques that the pickers can spend the better part of the day looking through, contact americanpickers@cineflix.com, @GotAPick on Facebook or call 646-493-2184 with your name, phone number, location, description of the collection and photos to be considered.

The show does not film at stores, flea markets, malls, auctions, museums, or anywhere else open to the public, the release notes.

The last time "American Pickers" visited North Carolina was in 2021, when picker Mike Wolfe bought an Abraham Lincoln statue from a 57-year-old woman’s late husband’s collection. In 2016, Wolfe and former co-star Frank Fritz picked collections in Harnett County and Rutherford County. The show has also visited Salisbury, Waynesville, Hamptonville and Concord in previous seasons.

“American Pickers” returns for season 24 at 9 p.m. Jan. 4, with new episodes every Wednesday and available on streaming services the following day. Viewers can also catch previous episodes on The History Channel at history.com/shows/american-pickers.
