All-American Rejects headline July 8 music fest at Sand Mountain Amphitheater

The All-American Rejects, who have a couple of platinum-selling albums on their résumé, are the headline act for the Make More mEMOries music fest set for July 8 at the Sand Mountain Amphitheater in Albertville.

Also on the bill, according to a news release from the amphitheater, are Grammy-nominated Plain White T’s and Hawthorne Heights.

Tickets range from $34 to $69 and are on sale at https://sandmountainamphitheater.com.

The All-American Rejects formed in 1999 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Their self-titled debut album in 2002 was certified platinum and their 2005 follow-up, “Move Along,” was certified double platinum by the RIAA.

Their third of four albums, 2008’s “When the World Comes Down,” produced the single “Gives You Hell” which reached No. 4 in the Billboard Top 100 and was certified quadruple platinum by the RIAA for sales of more than 4 million shipments.

Plain White T’s were formed in 1997 in Lombard, Illinois. Their 2006 single, “Hey There Delilah,” reached No. 1 in the Billboard Top 100 and earned Grammy nominations for Song of the Year and Best Pop Performance of the Year by a Duo or Group with Vocals. Their 2008 single “1,2,3,4” and their 2011 single “Rhythm of Love” were certified double platinum and platinum, respectively.

Hawthorne Heights, formerly known as A Day in the Life, was formed in 2001 in Dayton, Ohio.Their 2004 album “The Silence in Black and White” and their 2006 album “If Only You Were Lonely” both achieved gold certification (“If Only You Were Lonely” reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Independent Albums chart and No. 3 on the top 200 albums list), as did their 2006 single “Saying Sorry.”
