Several El Paso high school student-athletes in various sports have made verbal commitments or have signed to compete at the college level.

Here is a look at where they will be signing.

Baseball

Stephen Sepulveda, Americas

College Choice: Baylor

Of note: One of top right-handed pitchers in state of Texas. Led team to district and b-idistrict titles last season.

Easton Moomau, Americas

College choice: UT-Rio Grande Valley

Of note: Solid hitter and third baseman.

Orlando Samaniego, Riverside

College choice: UT-Rio Grande Valley

Of note: Good two-way player, has helped Riverside to playoff successes in 2021 and 2022.

Dylan Torres, Pebble Hills

College choice: Sacramento State

Of note: Recruited to Sacramento State after solid summer of pitching.

Jalen Ryan, Andress

College choice: Eastern Arizona

Of note: Older brother Julius pitches at Eastern Arizona.

Salvador Rocha, Pebble Hills

College choice: New Mexico Junior College

Of note: Will join very successful program in college. One of top players in El Paso.

Barry Miller, Jr., Horizon

College choice: New Mexico Junior College

Of note: The lefty is one of the state's top pitchers. Very tough to hit.

Jesus Tovar, Montwood

College choice: New Mexico State

Of note: The lefty was successful at New Mexico Junior College and caught the attention of the Aggies just 45 minutes north of El Paso.

Paul Coppinger, Coronado

College choice: Missouri State

Of note: Coppinger was successful at New Mexico Junior College last season and is headed to the D1 level.

Braden Gluth, Santa Teresa (N.M.) HS

College choice: Creighton

Of note: Gluth was a standout at nearby Santa Teresa before going the JUCO route.

EJ Miramontes, Clint HS

College choice: UT-Rio Grande Valley

Of note: Miramontes was a star pitcher for the Lions and last spring had a strong year for New Mexico Junior College.

Adrian Quintana, Americas

Of note: A veteran presence for the Trailblazers.
