Amgen Increases Quarterly Dividend

Amgen Inc. (AMGN) has informed the market Friday after closing bell that the board of directors of the company has authorized the payment of a quarterly dividend for the first trimester of fiscal 2019. The company will pay shareholders a cash dividend of $1.45 per share, reflecting a 9.8% increase from the previous one.
Shareholders will receive the payment on March 8, 2019. Investors who want to receive the dividend must be on the U.S. pharmaceutical company's record not later than Feb. 15. The ex-dividend date is for Feb. 14.
