Amistad High School graduation 2022: Diplomas awarded to nearly 100 students

Amistad High School held its graduation ceremony for the Class of 2022 on Tuesday at the Fantasy Springs Special Events Center. Approximately 100 students received diplomas.

Associated Student Body President Dallana Hernandez-Carranza began the ceremony by leading the Pledge of Allegiance.

Students Alexia Gonzalez, Nadia Zavala and Raul Romero-Soto delivered commencement addresses.

The keynote speaker was Catalina Cifuentes, executive director of college and career readiness for the Riverside County Office of Education.

Amistad, a continuation high school in Indio, is part of the Desert Sands Unified School District.
