AMoA presents annual Achievement of Art Exhibition

The Amarillo Museum of Art is presenting the 29th annual Achievement in Art Exhibition, featuring a collection of genre and impressionist paintings by French artists such as Alfred Sisley, Jean Baptiste Camille Corot, and Eugène Louis Boudin, among others.

The exhibition is on display from Jan. 14 through April 9.

In addition to luminous land and seascapes, the exhibition also includes a number of exquisitely rendered French pastoral scenes by Daniel Ridgeway Knight and Julien Dupré, as well as Parisian scenes by Edouard Léon Cortès.

Viewing this collection will transport viewers into an enchanting and idyllic late-19th to early-20th century French countryside.

The Amarillo Museum of Art is located at 2200 S. Van Buren St., on the Washington Street campus of Amarillo College. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, and 1-5 p.m. Sunday.
