Winner's circle retirement ceremony for I'll Have Another, not post parade walk

NEW YORK, N.Y. - I'll Have Another will not lead the post parade of horses before the Belmont Stakes, but there will be a retirement ceremony for the Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner in the Belmont Park winner's circle.

The change of plans was announced by the New York Racing Association on Saturday morning.

I'll Have Another's grooms will lead the Canadian-owned horse to the paddock about an hour before the running of the Belmont, then to the winner's circle where trainer Doug O'Neill will remove his saddle.

Post time for the Belmont is 6:40 p.m.

I'll Have Another was scratched from the Belmont on Friday, and was retired because of a tendon injury to his left front foot.
