His message comes following Volodymyr Zelenskyy's visit to the European Political Community Summit in Moldova.

Kyiv managed to take "real steps" to accelerate the training of Ukrainian pilots and technicians for fourth-generation aircraft, including but not limited to American F-16s, Zhovka said.

The following parties have officially joined Ukraine’s “fighter jet coalition” as of June 2:

  • United Kingdom

  • Netherlands

  • Poland

  • Denmark

  • Sweden

  • Belgium

  • Portugal

  • France

"The agreements reached allow us to count on concrete decisions on the scope and mechanism of training pilots and maintenance personnel, as well as the creation of conditions and appropriate infrastructure for fighter jets during the next Ramstein format meeting," the Zelenskyy administration said.

During a Ramstein format meeting on May 25, the participants agreed that the European “fighter jet coalition” for Ukraine would be led by Denmark and the Netherlands.

The United States has announced that Ukraine’s allies will collaborate to determine the specifics of aircraft transfers to Ukraine, including the timing, countries involved, and the quantity of aircraft. It has been emphasized that the delivery of fighter jets will be contingent upon Ukraine's commitment to refrain from using them to carry out strikeson Russian territory.
