Tickets are on sale now from ATG Tickets with prices starting at £20. The production runs from Monday, May 23 to Saturday, August 27, 2022.

For those unfamiliar with The Glass Menagerie, the synopsis reads: "Shattered by her husband's abandonment, Amanda Wingfield's steely focus remains locked on her future security and that of her children, Tom and Laura. Her determination collides with her children's dreams and ambitions.

"While Tom feels trapped by his life in St Louis, the pressure Amanda forces upon her daughter to secure her future is crushing both their relationship and Laura's fragile self-esteem. As attentions quickly turn to securing a suitor for Laura, the fine thread that connects dignity to desperation is pulled taut."

Meanwhile, Amy will next be seen on the big screen in the sequel to Disney's Enchanted, Disenchanted.

Alongside Amy, Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden and Idina Menzel will all be reprising their roles from the original.

Speaking about the film last month, Idina said: "They gave me songs.

"They gave me music to sing, which I didn't have in the first one, which was fine actually, everyone else made a big deal about it.

"I was happy to be hired as just an actress, but now I'm really excited because these songs Stephen Schwartz and Alan Menken wrote – the songs are incredible.

"But there's so much music, and Amy singing her butt off, and it's just Patrick singing and tap dancing. It's really glorious and joyful and people are going to love it."
