Amy Duggar King, known as the rebellious cousin from the now-cancelled TLC reality show 19 Kids and Counting, had a special Easter surprise for fans: She announced that she and her husband, Dillon King, are pregnant and expecting their first child together.
King shared the news excitedly on Sunday by uploading an Instagram photo of her and her husband standing in a colorful outdoor scene, with bright Easter eggs strewn all over the grass. In the shot, they're holding up four gold balloons that spell out the word "Baby."
"BABY KING IS ON THE WAY!!! Happy Easter from our growing family to yours!!" Duggar King captioned the photo. Her husband posted a similar picture on his own Instagram account, showing him and his wife lying down with the balloons on the grass. "We are completely speechless, overly excited and ready for the next chapter as new parents!" the couple told People in an interview.
The couple has reportedly been thinking about having kids for a while now. Last year, they had told Entertainment Tonight that they were getting "really good at practicing" in preparation for parenthood. They've been married since 2015, after getting hitched in a gorgeous, rose gold–themed ceremony in Arkansas in front of about 400 guests (these families are pretty gigantic, so it's no surprise that the invite list was so long).
The news comes a little after Duggar King's cousin, Jessa Duggar Seewald, announced in January that she's pregnant with her third child. However, Duggar King has always gone about things a bit differently from members of her family, and she told ET that she wasn't planning on following the footsteps of some of the other Duggars with a ton of kids.
"One or two," she said after she was asked how many babies wanted to have. "Maybe not twelve or twenty. One or two, maybe three…we kinda have our own way of doing things."
