She said the accident caused an existing cyst to become a “hypergrowth” that required surgery.

“I had this five-hour surgery, and they took it out. So, I actually had to learn to sing again,” Grant said.

She said she also got a surprise facelift during the surgery.

“I just felt like an old, beat-up car that went in and got a paint job and had the dents knocked out,” Grant said. “That’s a gift.”

She said she had some ongoing issues from the accident.

“Sometimes I walk around like I’m drunk and I just have to laugh about all of it,” she said about her balance.

She said she also has some short-term memory issues.

“I can’t remember what I can’t remember,” Grand said.

Grant had previously postponed her tour but is now back on the road.
