Ana de Armas teases John Wick spin-off Ballerina

Ana de Armas has teased her role in new John Wick spin-off Ballerina.
The movie stars de Armas as an assassin seeking revenge after the death of her family. Keanu Reeves, who plays John Wick, will also make an appearance.
While on the red carpet promoting her Apple TV+ movie Ghosted, de Armas discussed Ballerina with ET, saying: "That is gonna be really another level. That movie was really demanding!"

She continued: "You know, I love the John Wick universe and I loved working with Keanu again. It's a great character and it's a great story, it's beautiful on screen. I'm very excited for that one."
Chronologically, Ballerina takes place between John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and John Wick: Chapter 4.
Anjelica Huston, Ian McShane and the late Lance Reddick are set to reprise their roles, while franchise newcomers Gabriel Byrne, Norman Reedus and Catalina Sandino Moreno will also appear.

Back in January, de Armas hinted that she and Reeves are involved in a big fight sequence in the spin-off movie.
"The other day, Keanu and I were rehearsing our very difficult stunt scene, and this man is just rolling and throwing me and doing crazy stunts," she recalled.
"And I'm like — I can't complain anymore. Because he is doing it! He truly is the best."
Ballerina won’t be de Armas first action role. In Ghosted, she appears as a gun-toting superspy alongside Chris Evans, and she previously played a CIA agent in both No Time to Die and 2022’s The Gray Man.
