Be anchored in the Lord

People of God, as we say all the time, we are truly living in perilous times, but even in that we must be reminded that we have an anchor in Christ Jesus and must be sure and very sure that our anchor holds and grips to the solid rock which is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Yes, Jesus is our hope and anchor who will keep us during the times we are living in. he is able to keep us steadfast despite whatever the challenge is.

This is a time we must be always steadfast in the faith and trust in the Lord, leaning not unto our own understanding, but knowing that God will direct our path, and when the enemy comes in as a flood, the spirit of The Lord will lift a standard against them. We have a shelter in God through his son Jesus Christ, Psalms 27:5 says, "For in the time of trouble he shall hide us in his pavilion, in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide us and set us upon a rock, that we can offer up sacrifices of joy and sing praises unto our God, because our heads are lifted up above our enemies, and we are anchored in the Lord."

People of God, if our soul is not anchored in Jesus, we will soon drift away, so let us be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord that we know our labor is not in vain. Stay anchored my people, in God, like never. When the storms rage, stay anchored. When sickness comes, stay anchored. When our backs are up against the wall, stay anchored. Don’t give my up people. God is able to do exceeding and abundantly above all that we may ask or think according to the power that is working in us.

He can keep us from falling because he is our refuge in the times of trouble. In the darkest of seasons, Jesus is our light and our salvation, whom shall we fear, because we're anchored in Jesus, and God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind. He promised to keep the ones in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Jesus. Hebrews 6:19 lets us know that our hope is sure and steadfast as a well placed, secure and unbending anchor. Our anchor is not located in the deepest sea, but in the Highest Heaven.

Let us continue in the faith of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, being firmly grounded in the word of God, which are his promises, because he is not slack concerning none of his promises, as some of us count slackness. If you don’t know Jesus today, he can and wants to be known even right now. I John 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Confess Jesus with your mouth and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and be saved. Get into Gods word, learn of him, pray always, and give God praise always. It is then you will become anchored in God.
