Mayor Terence Roberts will make two significant announcements regarding European partnerships for Anderson. Roberts serves on the executive board of INMC and is the Co-President with Mayor Bianchi of Clermont-Ferrand. Bianchi established the International Network of Michelin Cities in 2014 at Michelin's International Headquarters.

"It became a dream, and then a goal, for us to be chosen as a host city for the INMC conference." "We recognized the economic value of the conference in bringing the world to Anderson. And we also recognized the opportunities for our region ― our innovation, our research, our industries ― to be highlighted," Roberts said in a press conference.
