Sure, you’ve had mint chocolate chip ice cream before, but it’s not the same as this Andes Crème de Menthe treat. That’s right — the classic thin mint chocolate comes as an ice cream sandwich, and now we can’t stop thinking about it.
The frozen treat consists of Andes Mint ice cream, that has actual Andes chips mixed in, between two chocolate wafers. We have the geniuses over at Hershey’s Ice Cream to thank for this one!

Multiple people have posted pictures of this sweet find on Instagram and online for years, but don’t feel bad about being late to the game. The Andes ice cream sandwich has been spotted in at a rest stop in Indiana, a restaurant in Indiana, and a gas station in Las Vegas.
What we’re getting at here is that you probably won’t find it while walking down the freezer aisle of a chain grocery store, but you can track down where Hershey’s Ice Cream is sold here.
We’re going to go out on a limb and say that there’s no way these ice cream sandwiches can be anything less than delicious, right? Time to track it down, you know, just to make sure.
