Andrew Benintendi smacks his first Yankees home run; hear John Sterling’s call
Andrew Benintendi, the Yankees outfielder acquired at the trade deadline, had his first Yankee moment Sunday against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Benintendi hit a two-run home run in the seventh inning, which proved to be the game-winner in a 4-2 victory on Paul O’Neill Day.
The home run led to John Sterling’s newest home run call: “Benny! Ohhh Molto Benny! It is raining Bennies from heaven!”
The Italian phrase ”molto bene” translates to ”very good” in English.
