Andrew Garfield bares it all in James Corden's Game of Thrones audition sketch
Andrew Garfield is coming for Game of Thrones.
In a new sketch for The Late Late Show, the Under the Silver Lake actor bares his soul, his chest… and some other things in a spoof audition for the HBO fantasy-drama series with James Corden.
If they can’t be Jon Snow, Cersei Lannister, Jamie Lannister, “the Mother of Dragons” Daenerys Targaryen, Hodor, a dragon, or the Mountain, then Garfield and Corden are dropping trou to audition for “anyone who gets nude in the show.”
For some reason, the casting director was not moved to tears of joy at the sight of Garfield’s bod. Instead, he just said, “Shame.”
Corden was ready to “go the extra mile” and castrate himself during the audition if it meant playing Lord Varys or the Unsullied or Theon Greyjoy. Again, it didn’t work.
