Andrew Vaughn will make his major-league debut Friday, batting fifth and playing left field for the Chicago White Sox against the Los Angeles Angels.

Vaughn, the No. 3 pick in the 2019 draft, is the top prospect in the organization.

“It’s a dream come true,” Vaughn said before Friday’s game at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. “That’s one of the dreams. Now the road, just got to keep on going and get after it every single day.”

Friday’s starting pitchers are Dallas Keuchel for the Sox and Andrew Heaney for the Angels.
