The New Orleans Saints started Andy Dalton at quarterback against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday in London after ruling out injured starting QB Jameis Winston, and Dalton threw a touchdown pass to Chris Olave during the second quarter.

Dalton, the Cincinnati Bengals' starting quarterback from 2011 to 2019, played in eight games and won three of his six starts for the Chicago Bears last season.

A tweet from Bengals radio play-by-play announcer Dan Hoard about Dalton:

Dalton won four of his nine starts for the Dallas Cowboys in 2020.

Dalton signed a one-year deal with the Saints in March. He hasn't played in New Orleans' first three games of this season.

The Bengals are scheduled to face Dalton and the Saints in New Orleans' Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Oct. 16 at 1 p.m. on CBS.

Last season, Bengals safety Vonn Bell was fined $10,300 for taunting Dalton during the Bengals' Week 2 loss in Chicago. Dalton left the game during the second quarter with a bone bruise and did not play in six of the Bears' next seven games.
