Bakeries around the Kansas City area can keep cooking their Chiefs-themed treats until the Super Bowl.

Cakes, cookies and more are dripped in red and gold and feature the faces (and bodies) of some of the Chiefs’ most prominent players and supporters.

Here are eight shops where Kansas Citians can buy Chiefs-themed treats — and maybe send a little good luck to their team all the way in Las Vegas.

If you know of any other bakeries or shops with Chiefs’ cakes, cookies or other sweet treats, let us know at kcq@kcstar.com and we will add it to our list.

Wolfy treats and ‘stache cakes

From KC Wolf cupcakes to red and gold cookie cakes, McLain’s sells a smorgasbord of sweets from its five locations across the Kansas City metro.

Owner Mollie Lothman previously told The Star that holidays and the Super Bowl are the bakery’s busiest seasons.

Mollie Lothman’s family has owned McLain’s since 2013, but the bakery has been around since 1945.

Recently, the business went semi-viral for its Andy Reidcicle cakes, which featured the Chiefs coach’s frozen mustache after the chilly game against the Miami Dolphins. The cakes were in such high demand, McLain’s stopped offering them at its Waldo location.

Reidcicle is back. The bakery announced that the cake is available for pre-order and pickup at its Waldo location, 201 E. Gregory Blvd., and in Lawrence at 2412 Iowa St.
