Ask any mom about a moment when they've sufficiently embarrassed their kids, and they're sure to give you a laundry list of cringe-worthy occasions. Whether it's a way too excited wave from the carpool pickup lane at school, or the time she said "it's lit" to prove she's hip to her kids' vocab, moms have a knack for doing something their kids find woefully mortifying.

Turns out, starring in a hit television show doesn't make you immune from embodying these embarrassing qualities, either. Angela Kinsey, who played Angela Martin, the uptight, cat-loving accountant and love interest of Dwight Schrute, on The Office from 2005-2013 and who now hosts the podcast Office Ladies with her former co-star Jenna Fischer, found this out the hard way when she started watching some reruns of the show with her kids.

"I haven't sat down and watched the whole show with the kids," Kinsey tells Woman's Day. "But every once in a while there's an episode on TV, and I'm like 'This is a fun one, do you guys want to watch it?'" Recently, with her three kids curled up in bed next to her, watching the "Traveling Salesmen" and "The Return" episodes from Season 3, she learned that her children are pretty embarrassed about her portrayal of Angela Martin."My daughter — every once in a while my character has an expression or a look — and she goes 'ugh, Mom,'" Kinsey laughs. "And I'm like 'That's not me! That's Angela Martin!'"

Luckily, when they can get past the embarrassment of seeing their mother on screen, they have enjoyed the episodes they've seen. "They are so tickled by Andy Bernard," Kinsey says. "Andy is losing it because Jim has hidden his cellphone and it keeps ringing. They loved it."

Alas, parents everywhere can take solace in the fact that even the seemingly coolest of moms can still embarrass her children.
