These pups and cats are in a tough spot, and Angelina Pivarnick of MTV's “Jersey Shore” is trying to help.

Pivarnick re-posted a message from Jersey Shore Pits Rescue imploring support for the Ocean County Animal Shelter after 180 dogs, cats and animals were found Dec. 2 in a Brick home alleged to have been a puppy mill.

Scores of animals found at the home were in poor physical health and being kept in inhumane conditions, authorities said. Two dogs were found dead and eight animals were sent for emergency veterinary care.

“PLEASE HELP!!!! I am going to try to do anything and everything I can,” posted Pivarnick on Instagram on Sunday, Dec. 4. “This disgusting rescue was a wolf in sheeps clothing. I hope she gets her karma for doing this to Poor innocent babies. Please fosters if u can step up !!! Anyone that can foster !”

Aimee Lonczak, 49 and Michele Nycz, 58, were living at the home along with Lonczak's 16-year old child. Lonczak and Nycz were arrested for animal cruelty and child endangerment, said Brick police spokesman Sgt. James Kelly.

The Friends of the Southern County Animal Shelter were “beyond blessed and grateful” for the support given so far.

“We could use sweaters and coats, particularly for small and medium size dogs,” said the group on its Facebook page. “These pups are not used to going outside, therefore these cold temps are a little tougher for them.”

Attempts to reach the group was unsuccessful on Monday. Visit www.fosocas.org for more information.

Officers who entered the residence immediately noticed a strong odor and unsanitary condition and observed stacks of animal crates on top of each other with dogs and cats in the crates, according to Kelly.

The removal of the animals took more than 10 hours.
