Angelina Jolie’s Vietnamese-born son, Pax Thien, spotted assisting her on set

Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt, Angelina Jolie’s Vietnamese-born adopted son, was reportedly spotted assisting his mother on the set of her upcoming biopic “Maria” in Paris last week.

What happened: An Instagram fan page dedicated to Pax Thien, 20, uploaded several pictures of him assisting his Hollywood A-lister mother while filming for her upcoming Maria Callas biopic “Maria,” directed by Pablo Larrain.

Dated Oct. 11, the pictures show Pax Thien being beside his mother on the movie set at the Pont Alexandre III bridge in Paris.

The context: Pax Thien has worked as his mother's assistant on movie sets including for “Without Blood” and “First They Killed My Father.”

Pax Thien is also reportedly playing an active role in helping Jolie, 48, set up her fashion brand Atelier Jolie. The actor’s other adopted child, Zahara, is also involved in the brand project.

More pictures: Days after their sighting in France, Pax Thien and Jolie were also pictured together in Peloponnese, Greece, on Sunday. Pax Thien can be seen talking into his earpiece walkie-talkie while shadowing his mother.

About Pax: Born in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on Nov. 29, 2003, Pax Thien was reportedly abandoned by his biological mother in a hospital about two days after birth and was sent to an orphanage, where he was given the name Pham Quang Sang. Jolie adopted Pax Thien from Tam Binh Orphanage in March 2007, followed by Brad Pitt in 2008.

His other siblings: Jolie shares six children with her ex-husband Pitt: Maddox, Pax Thien, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox. Like Pax Thien, Maddox and Zahara were also adopted from orphanages in Cambodia and Ethiopia, respectively.

Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox are the former A-lister couple’s biological children.
