Angelina, Vinny talk about their feelings, and the lap dance, on 'Jersey Shore' reunion

Angelina Pivarnick was “very brave” for expressing her feelings for Vinny Guadagnino on the just completed Season 6 of “Jersey Shore Family Vacation.”

That's the word from Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino on the Thursday, May 11, “Jersey Shore Family Vacation” reunion special on MTV.

“Sounds like love to me,” said Pauly Delvecchio. “Sounds like love.”

If it was love, it wasn't reciprocated in front of the cameras. Instead, Angelina was proposed to by another Vinny from Staten Island on the season's next to last episode, and she said yes.

Still, feelings seem to linger between Angelina and the Original Vinny, and those were hashed out on the reunion, which featured the cast members sitting in a semi-circle in a studio. None of the roomies' spouses were on camera. Justina Valentine was the host.

“It is what it is, he is just so different (when away from the cast),” said Angelina about Vinny. “He doesn’t act the way he acts when he’s in front of them.”

"So do you," Vinny said. "You act different, too.”

“Not really,” Angelina said. “I'm kind of just who I am. I don't kind of put on a show.”

“Yes you do,” Vinny said. “You are the show!”

The two Staten Island natives have a complicated history together, including a dalliance on Season 2 of “Jersey Shore,” which was filmed in Seaside Heights.

“You’re extra nice and the Vinny I really like when we’re not around the fam, but when we’re around them you put on this front or you act a little differently where you don’t like me,” Angelina said.

“I think we all act differently when we’re seeing each other on a random Tuesday versus when we’re all together as a group,” Vinny said.

Angelina, who wore a blue velvet gown with matching gloves and a bejeweled headband to the reunion, put her feelings — and everything else — on the line when she gave Vinny a lap dance during the roomies' trip to the Carolinas.

“That’s not how I give a lap dance,” said Angelina, who asked Vinny to donate his sperm in a cup for her so she could became pregnant. “I think I was just trying to (blank) around with you. Just make it like a funny thing.”

“I got rug burn from her jeans,” Vinny said.

The cast — and Vinny — were shocked when Vinny 2.0, who's also a Staten Island native, proposed. Was Angelina giving Vinny lap dances while she was also dating Vinny 2.0?

“I wasn’t dating him full blown like that, like dating around,” Angelina said. “Going on dates with other people.”

Angelina denied that Vinny 2.0 was living with her in her Freehold Township home during this time period.

“Angelina definitely has a type,” Vinny said. “It's like some kind of city worker from Staten Island, good benefits. She’s a simple lady.”

The roomies approve of Vinny 2.0, who is in law enforcement.

“I was happy because he evened her out, you know what I’m saying?” said Deena Cortese.

“It’s definitely shocking every time Angelina gets engaged,” Vinny said.

“Ok Vin, nice little jab …,” Angelina said

“She’s had more engagement parties than I’ve had birthdays,” Vinny said.

“At least I had one though,” Angelina said.

The impending returns of Sammi Giancola and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro next season were not discussed on the reunion.

The drama between Angelina and Jenni “JWoww” Farley after the marriage proposal was teased for part 2 of the reunion special, which airs Thursday, May 18.

“I just don't think you’ve ever had a real girlfriend to know what girlfriends do with each other,” said Jenni about the blowup.

Then, Angelina's ire was directed at Deena.

“Don't raise your voice to me,” said Angelina, standing up as she pointed her finger at Deena.

“You want to hit me?” Deena said. “(Blank) hit me, Angelina!”

“Jersey Shore Family Vacation” airs 8 p.m. ET Thursdays on MTV.
