Angry Bagel Boss Guy Transported to Hospital by Police for Psych Evaluation

The guy who went viral for going nuts in a bagel shop is currently under a psychological evaluation after police saw him swinging a bat at a group of people.

A spokesman for the Suffolk County Police in New York tells The Blast, "Third Precinct police officers were doing a patrol check of the Bay Shore Marina when they observed a man shouting at people, swinging a small bat and causing a disturbance at approximately 5:45 p.m."

We're told he was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.

Witnesses were able to capture video at the scene of the Bagel Boss guy, aka Chris Morgan, spread out while laying on his stomach and his hands cuffed behind his back.

Officials tell us at this time, Morgan is not under arrest.

Morgan has been in the news recently, not just for his viral blowup, but for inking an upcoming boxing match with retired, and controversial, MLB star, Lenny Dykstra.

The two signed on with Damon Feldman's Celebrity Boxing venture, and have agreed to fight each other during an upcoming bout in Atlantic City.

However, if Morgan ends up being hospitalized after his evaluation, the entire boxing match could be derailed.

Morgan also recently appeared on Howard Stern's SiriusXM radio show to discuss his video at the bagel shop, and what life has been like since his 15-minutes of fame arrived.

Morgan, who stands about 5' tall, explained that he has been tormented his entire life by women, and because of that has developed a disdain for them.

He's also been questioned about using racial slurs, but is adamant that he is not racist.
