Angry protests after shooting of street performer
A video posted on social media last week showed the moment the performer was shot dead by a police officer in Panguipulli, a normally sleepy village.
The video has gone viral, prompting angry demonstrations which has see protesters marching in the streets for justice. Many of those gathered in Santiago marched dressed as street performers in solidarity.
Chilean police have detained the officer involved in the shooting while the case is investigated.
