Anjali Ranadive named assistant GM of G League Stockton Kings

Anjali Ranadive, daughter of Sacramento Kings owner Vivek Ranadive, will officially join the basketball side of her family’s business by becoming assistant general manager of the Stockton Kings.

Anjali Ranadive, 29, is also the founder of Jaws & Paws, a marine and wildlife conservation nonprofit group that started in 2013. She also has a background in music as she launched her music career under her stage name “Nani” in 2014 as a singer and songwriter.

She updated her Twitter bio recently, describing herself as “Stockton Kings Assistant GM.” In her role, she will report to General Manager Paul Johnson, and assist with G League player evaluations, player development, and team strategy.

She also has been a part of the NBA scene for a while as she can be seen courtside in the Golden 1 Center games and she appeared in the 2022 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game.

She previously was the King’s social responsibility coordinator. She also as represented the Kings in the 2014 NBA draft lottery and recently in Chicago for the 2022 NBA draft combine.

The Stockton Kings finished last season ranked 19th in the league and eighth in the West with a record of 15-18
