The Annapolis Christian Academy boys basketball team is back on top of the Texas Christian Athletic League.

The Warriors defeated Bryan Still Creek 67-32 to capture the Class A title on Saturday for the team's third TCAL state title in five seasons, and first since 2020.

Annapolis rolled past Lifegate in the semifinal round before its title-clinching win against Still Creek.

Caleb Riojas led the Warriors in scoring during the three games with more than 20 points a contest and Brendan Liefer averaged more than 10 points and nine assists throughout the postseason.

"It was tremendous and a team effort," Annapolis coach Willie Harper said. "I played all 13 kids in all three games, and everyone contributed. That's what we have built on all year. I had three seniors who have been with me for five to six years since middle school and they knew it had to be a team effort."

Riojas, Liefer and Liam Harms were named all-tournament, and Riojas was named the tournament's most valuable player.

"He has come a long way," Harper said of Riojas. "He came to Annapolis in eighth grade and part of three titles. He's developed from a little boy to a man. He has a bright future and a big upside. We're building a dynasty here in Corpus Christi."
