Annual Canton Art on Main Fine Arts Festival returns in June. Here’s the details.

The Canton Art on Main Fine Arts Festival will return   Saturday, June 4, 9 a.m. to  4:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 5, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Canton’s downtown Jones Park.

CANTON – The Canton Art on Main Fine Arts Festival will return   Saturday, June 4, 9 a.m. to  4:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 5, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Canton’s downtown Jones Park.

The festival, presented by Canton Main Street, will feature 28 professional artists. Out of those 28 artists, three are new artists to the festival.

Categories being represented at the festival, with awards, include painting/drawing, jewelry, glass, photography, clay/ceramics, textiles, sculpture, mixed media and wood.

The Art on Main Fine Arts Festival is a juried show, and an Art on Main committee, which is made up of artists, art patrons, designers and other volunteers, review work submitted for consideration.

Visitors to this two-day festival may view and purchase artwork from the 28 featured artists.

Additionally, there will be music by local musicians, kids’ art activities, a silent auction, food vendors, and wine.  For purchase, Spoon River Junction Winery will be offering glasses of their wine. There will also be plenty of food vendors ready to serve hungry attendees including: Deadwood BBQ, The Lunch Wagon, Young’s Popcorn Heaven, and Sugar Mamas Pastries.

Both days, local musicians will play. Saturday, live music may be enjoyed from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, June 5, 11 a.m. to  3 p.m.

Admission to the festival is free.
